When I started my SketchNoting journey, I began investigating ways to further improve my drawing skills. Being over 40, I was a little skeptical about learning to draw. That’s when an internet search led me to Danny Gregory, who runs the popular Sketchbook School channel on YouTube. It was a gold mine of inspiration for beginners like me. He offers great tips, ‘draw with me’ sessions, and amazing newsletters. One newsletter, in particular, focused on finding the right level of intrinsic motivation to start as an artist.
