After recommendation from friends, I read the book The Notebook by Roland Allen. To be honest I went in with low expectations. The history of writing on paper does not necessarily sound like a page turner.
I must say I was pleasantly surprised with it. Roland Allens writing style and the research on the topic is impressive. The history of writing, supported by the stories of famous inventors, thinkers and their use of pen and paper make The Notebook a fun read.
I created the SketchNote on what The Notebook means to us and I do recommend the book to everyone. After finishing the book, I do agree, Notebook is the best piece of technology created centuries ago!
Have you read The Notebook? What other books on similar theme would you recommend?
