I love taking Notes. Seriously! Whether it’s in a meeting, while diving into a book, or even just making my daily checklists and plans, I’m always jotting things down so I don’t forget later. For ages, it was all about digital notes for me. Evernote, Notion, Apple Notes, Google Keep – you name it, I probably tried it! With smartphones becoming our constant companions, it was just so easy to pull one of those apps up and start typing away. And let’s be honest, those cloud sync features were a game-changer in terms of convenience.

But you know what? Something just felt… missing. No matter which tool I used, it all ended up feeling pretty much the same, didn’t it? Just typed text with maybe a few bolds and highlights thrown in. It was convenient, sure, but it lacked mypersonal touch, you know?

That’s where Sketchnoting came in, and it was a revelation! Suddenly, I could do so much more. I could actually add my own flair! Visuals to really grab my attention? Yes, please! Now, my notes aren’t just personal; they’re totally unique to me.

Even if you are not a SketchNoter you can still get started with the process. Carl Pullein has explained this his video – Enjoy the joy of Handcrafted Planning. No Device or No Apps required

What are your thoughts on this? Have you experimented with analog methods in your own productivity system? I’d love to hear your perspective!

what a consistency 👏. Incredible. Congratulations. Inspiring as always. Nothing comes near paper pen notes. I understand convenience part and reference on the go. Thanks for sharing handcrafted planning.
