Over the last few years, SketchNoting has been an integral aspect of life. It supplemented by learning journey, ensuring I remember the vital message and even teach others on what I have learned. I am sure this is a key reflection from other SketchNoters. At least it has been for Kumar Ahir who ran a Sketch Your Inner Self Program in the month of November
The idea, learn through focussed articles and TED Talks about key concepts, create the SketchNote for it. Also further reflect in your own personal life through the related journalling prompts. This was run through a three week program.
So what did we achieve at the end of it? We created 13 SketchNotes per participant, making it a huge collection of 104+ SketchNotes.

It was no small task, the community held each other accountable, we met weekly, tracked progress, shared reflections. We understand everyone is busy in their daily lives but dedicating the time was more about just creating something. We all understood it was investing in ourselves. The personal reflections, next steps were more important. Maybe it does not come through in the first pass of going through this exercise but surely it will become more clear after running through the 2nd or 3rd pass.

Finding yourself is a journey and it can only start when you pause and reflect. It is easier said than done but what if there is a focused approach for it. Sketch Your Inner Self can be a good start. The next session plan starts soon. Connect with me or Kumar Ahir if you would like to join us.
